We are tailored to produce graduates equipped with both clinical and public health knowledge and skills to mitigate the existing health service inequality among Ethiopian population. There were only eight academic staffs since its establishment, of whom two were master degree holders and the rest six were bachelor degree holders. With a short time laps; tremendous effort have been made to expand the academic programs and to increase number of staff with relevant academic profile. Currently the academic programs under the college increased to five undergraduate programs along with the newly opened medical laboratory science department; furthermore private regular admission has started on public health and nursing programs. Currently there are 807 students in both government and private admissions in our college. Around 102 employees are engaged for the realization of the stated institutional mission and vision; of which 92 are teachers (27 are on study leave), 7 laboratory technicians and 3 administrative staffs. Our college inaugurated the graduation of its first batch graduates in public health since 2016.
