                                                      Vacant Position: Vice President for Research and Community Services 

Wolkite University would like to invite all interested and competent staff members to apply for the post of Vice President for Research and Community Service.

 1. Requirements:

1.1. Educational Qualification: PhD degree or MA/MSc degree with a rank of Assistant Professor or above (Female candidates with lecturer rank can also apply)

1.2. Experiences: Evidence of track record experiences in a management position in higher education or experience in a management position in a field outside higher education.

1.3. Prepare Strategic Plan: Prepare and present a strategic plan (not more than 10 pages) on how to improve core functions of Research and Community Service to the search and selection committee as well as to the senate members of the university.

2. Ethical Qualities

       2.1. The applicant is required to be free from unethical behavior and should be with a confirmed record of exemplar qualities of respect for and commitment                   to  duty.

         2.2. The applicant is required to possess the quality of working with others and treating all equally and fairly

         3. Terms of Assignment- for four (4) years with possibility of renewal for one more term

         4. Salary and Benefits: Salary and benefits are based on salaries and benefits applicable to higher education institutions.

         5.
